Nepali accessories brand, AstaWolf launched a new affordable TWS earbuds in the market on 15th January 2024, by the name of Cobra.

Design

Design-wise, the Cobra follows the general looks of most TWS in the market. However, AstaWolf has added a grid texture to the stem of the earbuds and the edge of the case that gives it a unique design and adds grip to the TWS.

AstaWolf branding and LED charge indicator are placed right at the front of the case. The earbud stem also has an LED indicator and the company logo. Overall, the earbuds and the case have a neat and stand-out design.

These are in-ear type earbuds with silicone eartips that provide a more secure fit. These earbuds also have water/sweat resistance for gym and outdoor uses with an IPX4 rating.

Features

The AstaWolf Cobra features a 10mm dynamic driver. You will get an ENC, which is commonly found among most TWS. The function of TWS is to cancel out background noise from your side during phone calls.

The silicone ear tips should reduce some external noise but there is no active noise cancellation technology in this device used for surrounding noise reduction.

Battery and Connectivity

The earbuds each hold a 30mAh battery while the charging case holds a 240mAh battery. This translates to roughly 5 hours of playback time from the earbuds and 20+ hours of battery backup inside the case, according to AstaWolf.

The company also states charging times for the buds and charging case as 60 mins and 90 mins respectively.

The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.3 for connecting with the playback device. They have an automatic pairing feature when you open the charging case. It supports both Android and iOS devices.
