Apple iMac 2021 to be Available in Nepal From 28th June

Apple iMac 2021 was launched in May 2021. And, now they are available in Nepal via Oliz Store.

Apple iMac 2021 price in Nepal starts at Rs. 2,05,000 for the 8/256GB variant and will be available from 28th June. You can also pre-order the new iMac via Oliz Store right now.

The new iMac 2021 comes with a 24″ screen, Apple’s M1 chip, and a variety of color schemes. Let’s take a look at it.

Build and Design

The new iMacs have received a big redesign and several color options. You can choose from 7 different colors including the usual silver aluminum.

The M1 chip also allows it to be thinner and more compact than its predecessors. To be exact, it has a thickness of just 11.5 mm.

The standard iMac comes only comes in a single 24-inch variant. For ports, it has two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports with support for DisplayPort, Thunderbolt 3 (up to 40Gb/s), USB 4 (up to 40Gb/s), USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10Gb/s), Thunderbolt 2, HDMI, DVI, and VGA supported using adapters (sold separately).

There’s also a 3.5 mm headphone jack, ethernet port, and two USB 3 ports.

The standard iMac comes with a Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse combo. You can also configure it with Touch ID, Numeric Keypad, or Magic Trackpad.

Display

The 24-inch Retina display is a 4.5K panel with slim bezels and 11.3 million pixels. It also comes with P3 wide color gamut, over a billion colors, and 500 nits of brightness.

This new display also features True Tone technology, which automatically adjusts the color temperature as the environment changes for a more natural viewing experience. In addition, the 4.5K Retina display on the new iMac has an industry-leading anti-reflective coating for greater comfort and readability.

Performance

The new iMac comes with Apple’s own M1 chip. The entry-level variant comes with a 7-core GPU whereas the high-level variant has an 8-core GPU.

Except for this difference, they come with an 8-core CPU and 16-core Neural Engine.

The new iMac delivers powerful performance when compared to standard models of the 21.5-inch iMac. Apple claims up to 85 percent faster CPU performance, 2x faster GPU performance, and 3x faster machine learning.

Other Features

iMac features a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, studio-quality three-microphone, and six-speaker sound system.

Furthermore, the new iMac offers the ultimate macOS Big Sur experience.
