Samsung A14 4G Overview

Design

Samsung A14 4G looks exactly like the A14 5G with a plastic frame and plastic rear panel. The rear panel has a triple camera setup and a subtle stripe pattern.

It comes in three colors: Black, Green, Dark Red, and Silver.

Similar to its 5G counterpart, the power button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor, and volume buttons are placed on the right. Likewise, the speaker, USB-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack are located on the bottom.

Display

It has a 6.6-inch FHD+ PLS LCD display but it doesn’t have a 90Hz refresh rate like the A14 5G.

Also, it has the same outdated v-drop notch on the front which is truly outdated by 2023 standards.

Hardware

The A14 4G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. Helio G80 is a decent budget processor built on a 12nm process technology.

It has two Cortex-A75 CPUs clocked at up to 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 CPUs at up to 1.8GHz and a Mali-G52 GPU.

It is only available in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant in Nepal. Users can also expand the storage up to 1TB with a microSD card.

Camera

On the rear, it has a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP Ultrawide-angle sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The A14 5G had a macro sensor instead of the ultrawide-angle sensor. On the front, it has a 13MP selfie camera.

The phone can shoot video up to 1080p at 30fps from both the rear and front cameras.

Samsung A14 4G comes with a 5000mAh battery and 10W charging support.

In terms of software, it runs on Android 13 topped with One UI Core 5.0.

The Samsung A14 4G is a dialed-down version of the recently launched A14 5G. It looks similar but has dialed-down specs in every department. However, it does have an ultrawide-angle sensor which is not available on the A14 5G.

It has a 60Hz FHD+ PLS LCD display, an Helio G80 chipset, a 50MP main camera, and 4GB RAM.
