Realme Again Increases the Price of Narzo 50 in Nepal

Realme has again increased the price of the Narzo 50 in Nepal. The company has also re-stocked its base 4GB RAM variant in Nepal.

Now, the Realme Narzo 50 price in Nepal is Rs. 23,999 for the 4/64GB variant and Rs. 27,499 for the 6/128GB variant. The device is available at Realme authorized stores across Nepal.

The phone was announced in late February 2022 and is the Narzo family’s newest member. This is the second time the company has hiked the price of this device. The first price hike was in June, just two months after its debut in Nepal.

The phone is identical to the Realme 8i that we reviewed last year. It simply adds a matte look and supports faster charging.

Realme Narzo 50 Overview

Design

The Realme Narzo 50 features a rectangular glass-like camera island on the back like the one on the Realme 8i. However, contrary to the Realme 8i’s glossy back, its polycarbonate back has a matte finish with a kevlar texture.

The phone is 8.5mm thick and weighs 194g. The power button, which also serves as a fingerprint sensor, is located on the right side of the device, while the SIM card tray, with a dedicated microSD card slot, and the volume buttons are on the left.

Similarly, the bottom of the device features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a mono speaker.

Display

The 6.6-inch IPS LCD display panel has a Full HD+ (1080 x 2412 pixels) resolution and supports a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The display has a 6-level variable refresh rate from 30Hz to 120Hz.

In the upper left corner of the display, a punch-hole cutout for the camera is located. Realme mentions that the display has a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio and a 180Hz touch sampling rate.

Hardware

The Realme Narzo 50 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 processor. The processor has an octa-core CPU consisting of two 2.5GHz ARM Cortex-A76 cores and six 2.0GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores; and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

The processor is paired with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage.

Camera

The back has a triple-camera setup comprising a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP B&W camera.

The front has a 16MP in-display selfie camera. The device can shoot video up to 1080p at 30fps.

Battery and OS

Fueling the smartphone is a 5000mAh battery. It charges via a USB-C and supports 33W fast charging.

In terms of software, it runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.

Realme Narzo 50 Price in Nepal and Availability

The Realme Narzo 50 price in Nepal is Rs. 23,999 for the 4/64GB variant and Rs. 27,499 for the 6/128GB variant. The device is available at Realme authorized stores across Nepal.

Initially, the 4GB variant and 6GB variant were priced at Rs. 22,999 and Rs. 26,499, respectively. Then after a while, the 4GB variant was out of stock. And on June 10, the company had increased the price of the 6GB variant by Rs. 500.

And today (August 3), Realme increased the price of the Narzo 50 for the second time. In addition, the 4/128GB variant also got re-stocked.

The Realme Narzo 50 is nearly identical to the Realme 8i. The only differences are the rear finish and the support for 33W fast charging (Realme 8i supported 18W).
