 HIGHLIGHTS

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series offers some of the best value among flagship smartphones, but its high price often puts them out of reach for many users. That’s where the Galaxy S25 FE comes in, bringing several premium features from its higher-end siblings at a more accessible price.

And this time, the FE might actually live up to its “Fan Edition” name. Now let’s get right into it.

The Galaxy S25 FE sits at the bottom of Samsung’s S25 lineup, aiming to deliver the premium experience of the flagship S25 without the premium price tag.

However, in the past, FE models have often missed the mark, sitting far below the base variant in performance and value, while still costing a bit too close for comfort.

This year, though, things seem to be taking a promising turn with the S25 FE. So, let’s dive into the overview and see if Samsung has finally nailed the balance between price and performance.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Overview

The Galaxy S25 FE shares its design language with its bigger siblings, the S25 and S25+, and at first glance, it’s hard to tell them apart. When compared to the S25+, which also features a 6.7-inch display, the two are practically identical in appearance.

Samsung has finally brought the Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X panel to the FE lineup, matching the premium experience of the S25 series. The screen-to-body ratio is also higher than that of the S24 FE, resulting in thinner bezels.

However, despite the improvement, the bezels are still uneven, which makes the phone look a bit less appealing for a premium-tier device.

Under the hood, the S25 FE gets a modest bump from the Exynos 2400e to the Exynos 2400. While this isn’t a massive performance leap, it’s still an upgrade.

In terms of memory, Samsung keeps things familiar with 8GB of RAM paired with 256GB of internal storage, similar to last year’s S24 FE.

On the camera front, there’s no change to the main sensor, but the selfie camera has been upgraded from 10MP to 12MP, promising sharper front-facing shots.

Powering the device is a 4,900mAh battery, now identical to the S25+. Even better, charging speeds have been upgraded to 45W, a welcome improvement for faster top-ups.

And lastly, like all the phones in the S25 lineup, the FE variant also gets the same 7 years of OS and security upgrades.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Price in Nepal: Rs. 99,999 (8/256GB)

In Samsung’s Galaxy S lineup, the FE model traditionally sits just below the base S model. But looking back at the S23 FE and S24 FE, it often felt like Samsung had cut too many corners to create a more affordable variant.

This year, however, things appear to be different. With notable upgrades to the battery and display, Samsung has managed to narrow the gap between the FE and the base S25.

The Galaxy S25 FE now stands much closer to the standard S25 than ever before. But with those improvements, there is also a higher price tag this time around.
