vivo Y19s Pro Launched in Nepal: 44W Fast Charging in Rs. 20,000

Vivo Nepal has brought the vivo Y19s Pro, expanding its budget-friendly Y series lineup following vivo Y28.

The Vivo Y19s Pro, as the name suggests, is the more specced-up sibling of the regular Y19s. Design-wise, not much seems to have changed at first glance, but there are some notable upgrades in the specs—especially in the charging department.

Vivo Y19s Pro Overview

Design

At first glance, there’s barely any noticeable difference between the Vivo Y19s Pro and its sibling, the standard Y19s. Both phones rock a plastic build with a flat frame and back.

Vivo keeps the design consistent with the camera module— both phones sport the same dual-lens setup, a flashy Camera Ring (Vivo’s fancy name for dynamic lighting), and a dual flashlight. The side rails house the usual volume rocker and a power button that works as a fingerprint scanner, which is basically the go-to move in this segment.

But here’s where the Pro earns its badge—IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, SGS 5-Star Drop Resistance, and even MIL-STD 810H Military Grade Certification. As for the colors, you’ve got options. The Y19s Pro comes in three shades: Pearl Silver, Diamond Black, and Glacier Blue.

Display

Flip the phone over and you’re greeted with a 6.68-inch IPS LCD panel. It’s rocking an HD+ resolution (720 x 1608 pixels) and a 90Hz refresh rate—not exactly cutting-edge, but for this price point, it does what it needs to.

That said, Vivo has done a decent job of making the panel bright with 1000 nits HBM (High Brightness Mode) which means you won’t be squinting at your screen on a sunny day. And the display is also TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light.

Hardware

Under the hood, the Vivo Y19s Pro sticks with the same Unisoc T612 processor as its standard sibling. This octa-core chipset maxes out at 1.8GHz, so yeah—it’s not winning any speed tests. Pair that with the Mali-G57 GPU, and you can expect some basic gaming or video playback.

Where the Pro variant does step things up is in memory. It’s got 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, which is a nice bump over the 4GB or 6GB options found on the regular Y19s. Storage sits at 128GB (eMMC 5.1)—not super spacious, but the hybrid SIM slot gives you the option to toss in a microSD card.

And just like its sibling, the Y19s Pro keeps the dual-speaker setup with a 300% volume boost.

Cameras

Y19s Pro carries over the same setup as the regular Y19s. On the back, you’ve got a 50MP main sensor paired with a 0.08MP auxiliary lens.

Flip to the front, and there’s a 5MP selfie shooter tucked neatly inside a punch-hole cutout. In this price bracket, that’s a nice touch. The Y19s Pro maxes out at 1080p@30fps from both the front and rear cameras.

Battery and OS

The battery on the Vivo Y19s Pro gets a serious upgrade. It packs a massive 6,000mAh cell.

Even better? It supports 44W fast charging, which is pretty impressive at this price point. Most phones here are still stuck on 18W or 33W tops. Vivo also claims the battery will maintain its health for up to 4 years.

On the software side, the Y19s Pro comes with the latest Android 15, layered with Vivo’s custom Funtouch OS 15. That said, Vivo hasn’t revealed how long they’ll support the phone with updates.

The Vivo Y19s Pro, as the name suggests, is a modest step up from the regular Y19s. You get some solid upgrades—8GB RAM, a massive 6,000mAh battery, and 44W fast charging that’s honestly rare to find in this price segment.

However, it’s not all smooth sailing. The Unisoc T612 is starting to show its age, especially when competitors like the HMD Crest, or OnePlus Nord N30 SE are offering more balanced performance in the same (or slightly higher) price range.
