Honor 200 Lite with a 108MP Camera Launching Soon in Nepal

The Honor 200 Lite is the currently most affordable option amongst the Honor 200 line of smartphones. It is anticipated to launch soon in the Nepalese market.

Unlike the Honor 200 and the Honor 200 Pro, the Honor 200 Lite has a more squarish design language. The smartphone has a MediaTek Dimensity processor, an OLED display, triple cameras, and a 4500mAh battery.

Honor 200 Lite Overview

Design

The Honor 200 Lite features a squared and flat design. The rear hosts the cameras in a rectangular bump, with the Honor logo vertically aligned at the bottom left.

The flat side rails house the volume buttons, power/fingerprint sensor, USB-C port, SIM card slot, speaker grille, and a light sensor.

Depending on the chosen color, the rear panel of the Honor 200 Lite presents different finishes, while the side rails vary between matte and shiny.

Display

The Honor 200 Lite features a flat display with slim and uniform bezels. It includes a pill-shaped cutout for the selfie camera.

The 6.7-inch flat AMOLED display has a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels and a peak brightness of 2000nits.

The Honor 200 Lite comes with a software feature called ‘Magic Capsule’, akin to Apple’s Dynamic Island. It displays notifications and essential information in a concise format.

Hardware

The Honor 200 Lite smartphone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor. This octa-core chip comprises 2 high-performance Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and 6 efficiency Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. It is paired with a Mali-G57 graphics processor.

Regarding memory, the smartphone is available in a single variant, offering 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone does not support memory expansion.

The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrically authenticating the user.

Camera

Featuring a triple-camera arrangement on the back, the Honor 200 Lite has a primary camera with a 108MP f/1.75 aperture lens, accompanied by a 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro lens. Alongside, there is a 50MP selfie camera on the front.

Both the rear and the selfie cameras can record videos up to 1080p at 30 frames per second.

Battery and OS

The Honor 200 Lite is equipped with a 4500mAh Li-po battery, which provides reliable battery life. It charges via a USB-C port and supports fast charging up to 35W.

Out of the box, the smartphone comes with Android 14 as its operating system with MagicOS 8 skin applied on top.

Honor 200 Lite Price in Nepal and Availability

The Honor 200 Lite price in Nepal has yet to be announced. Looking at the smartphone’s price in the UK, we can expect it to start retailing from around Rs. 48,000 (8/256GB) in Nepal.

Once launched, the phone will be available for purchase on e-commerce sites as well as physical retailers.
