ZTE Axon Elite & Axon Mini Premium Now Available in Nepal

ZTE Axon Elite and ZTE Axon Mini Premium are now available in Nepal. Evolution Enterprises (Official distributor of ZTE phones in Nepal) looks to compete in the mid-range market with the release of these smartphones.

ZTE Axon Elite

ZTE Axon Elite is a year old phone, it was released in September 2015. It finally arrives in Nepal with specifications similar to Nexus 6P. It runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 SoC, Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Even though it runs on old specs, it carries a dual camera setup with a rear 13MP and 2MP sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP sensor for selfies. Besides, it has a premium build quality and design with metallic body flanked by the leather-ish bottom and top.

Axon Elite comes with a 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD. It runs on 3000mAh battery and also supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0.

ZTE Axon Mini Premium

ZTE Axon Mini is the miniature version of the flagship Axon Elite. It was released in October 2015. One of its cool features is the pressure sensitive display. Axon Mini feels quite a premium with pressure sensitive display, fingerprint scanner, eye scanners and the high-end dual speakers. 3GB of RAM & 32GB of storage is also good to see. But, the processor doesn’t match the rest of the specs. It runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 SoC, Adreno 405 GPU, and 2800mAh battery.

Unlike the Axon Elite’s dual camera setup, it has a single 13MP sensor on the back and an 8MP sensor on the front. Axon Mini is certainly one of the most premium looking phones in its budget range even though it has an older CPU.

ZTE Axon Mini Premium & ZTE Axon Elite are a year old phone running on old hardware, but they perform decent in comparison to new phones with updated specifications. Both the phones have good build quality and impressive design. Let’s see how the ZTE’s Axon series performs in Nepali market.
