Nepal Telecom Launches ‘WOW TIME’ App – Enjoy LIVE TV on Your Smartphones



Nepal Telecom(NT) in collaboration with Win Nepal has launched an online video streaming app called, WOW TIME. With this app now NT users to can enjoy watching and listening live TV, FM, videos, and movies through their smartphones.

WOW TIME is a first linear TV and VOD OTT service provided by Nepal Telecom for its customers in collaboration with Win Nepal Pvt. Ltd. WOWTIME allows its accessibility to the active mobile users of Nepal Telecom.

Telecom users can start enjoying the service provided by this app by going through a simple registration process by entering their name and phone number. The Linear TV and VOD (Video On Demand) OTT (Over The Top) service can be accessed either by WIFI or cellular data from the mobile network.

With altogether of almost 130 channels, the Live TV section of this app includes almost everything that a Nepal Cable service provider offers.

The Movies section holds Nepali, Hindi and English section individually so that the user can enjoy the facility more effectively. Movies are classified according to different genres that makes it easier to choose a movie within the same language.

The Videos section complies with random series of videos about how-to’s, web series and funny clips. Also, the users can enjoy listening to 56 Nepali FM stations.

The service is free for a month and the offer is covered under the Dashain Tihar offer where users can freely enjoy the service. However, users will have to pay a certain amount to benefit the service after a month.

With the demand from the users and feedback set by the customers the app is expected to be updated with more features and on the top of list stays the NEWS section.

The app is available for download for both iOS and Android platforms.
