19 Visually Impaired Students in Ilam given Android Phones

Visually impaired students in Ilam were given Android mobile phones by the Association of the People with Visual Impairment with assistance from Action Disabled Rights and Development Nepal.

The Details:

  • Association Chairman, Padam Subba said that 19 phones were handed to visually impaired students from Ilam, Panchthar and Taplejung districts.
  • These phones have special software according to their needs in order to help the students in their studies.
  • Further, these students were also provided residences at a local Bal Mandir primary school.
