Design

The Umidigi G1 Tab Kids brings a kid-friendly design with the Sturdy Eco-friendly EVA protective case. It’s made of rebound material and has cushioning on all four corners to protect against drops.

Furthermore, there’s a back ring that doubles as a stand allowing for more versatile use cases of the tablet. The tablet also features dual stereo speakers set up to improve the multimedia as well as learning experience.

Display

The tablet has a resolution of 1280×800 which results in a not-so-sharp display for a 10.1-inch panel.

The TFT panel is surrounded by rather thick bezels (7.8mm) on all sides.

Hardware

Powering the tablet is an RK3562 quad-core chipset made by Rockchip. It comes with 4×2.0GHz Cortex-A53 cores and Mali G52 for GPU. It’s not a performance champion by any means but should be okay to use in day-to-day scenarios.
