UMIDIGI A7 Pro price in Nepal is Rs. 17,690 and is available in 4GB/128GB configuration. It is available for purchase via daraz right now in two colors: Ocean Blue and Cosmic Black.

Design

UMIDIGI A7 Pro looks quite premium as it has an illuminating finish with a glass-like back. UMIDIGI mentions double-sided 2.5D curved glasses couple with a metal frame. The fingerprint sensor is rear-mounted and the build looks quite good.

On the front, it has a teardrop notch.

Display

UMIDIGI A7 Pro has a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It’s an LCD display coupled with in-cell and LTPS technology.

An FHD+ display at this price is quite good.

Hardware

The device looked quite good till now but its hardware is not as impressive. UMIDIGI A7 Pro is using MediaTek Helio P23 chipset.

It’s a 14nm chipset with an Octa-core CPU where all of the 8-cores are ARM Corte-A53 cores. 4 of the cores are clocked at 2.0GHz and the other 4 cores are clocked at 1.5GHz. As for GPU, it uses ARM Mali-G71 MP2 GPU clocked at up to 770 MHz.

This chipset is an upgrade from Helio P22 but still, it’s an old chipset and a budget-level chipset. Along with these, it comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM.

Camera

UMIDIGI promotes UMIDIGI A7 Pro as a Quad camera value king. It has a 16MP main sensor, 16MP Ultra-Wide Angle camera with 120-degree FOV, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor.

On the front, it has a 16MP sensor for selfies. Both rear cameras and front cameras are capable of recording 1080p videos.

Battery

In terms of battery, it comes with a 4150 mAh battery which should be enough for more than a day of usage.

So, UMIDIGI A7 Pro has an appealing design and the camera setup looks great on paper. It’s great that they have included a 1080p display at this price tag which is rare even at this price tag. But, it uses the Helio P23 chipset which is a budget chipset and it won’t be able to run games at good frames. The likes of Redmi 9, Realme C3 provide better performance for the price.
