Ultima Atom 820 Officially Launching Next Week in Nepal — Again

Ultima introduced the Ultima Atom 820 earbuds in August during the “Ultima Exchange Mela.” However, it turns out that was not the official launch. Ultima is now officially re-introducing the earbuds on December 19, 2023.

Design

The Ultima Atom 820 is an in-ear style earbud. It features a long stem and touch controls on both earbuds. The earbuds have a two-tone finish just like the case.

The earbuds also come with an IPX5 rating. This means the earbuds are sweat and splash-resistant. The case is squircle-shaped and features four LED lights for charging. There are three color options to choose from: Grey, Blue, and Pink.

Features

The earbuds feature a 13mm Dynamic driver and come with ENC (Environment Noise Cancellation). The earbuds support IWP (Instant Wake & Pair) tech allowing you to seamlessly connect with the audio source device.

The earbuds also feature a Gaming Mode which has a latency of 60ms. It’s not ideal for competitive or fast-paced gaming but it’s still good for casual gamers. The earbuds feature dual microphones for voice input as well.

Battery and Connectivity

The earbuds each come with a 35mAh battery. Ultima has claimed a 5-hour playback@70% volume. The case has a battery capacity of 350mAh and Ultima claims up to 25 hours of playback.

The earbuds support ASAP charge via the USB-C port and Ultima has claimed 150 minutes of playback with a 10-minute top-up. A full charge, however, takes around 30 minutes for the earbuds and around 1.5 hours for the case. The case has 4 LED indicators to display the remaining charge which will come in handy.

The earbuds work on Bluetooth V5.3 and have a 10m connection distance, pretty standard stuff here.
