Software Freedom Day 2015 is being Celebrated Tomorrow, on 19th September 2015

Software Freedom Day (SFD) 2015 is being celebrated tomorrow, 19^th September 2015 at Nepal Engineering Association (NEA), Harihar Bhawan, Pulchowk. It is an annual event celebrated by various software communities to promote Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) worldwide.

This event is being celebrated with a zeal to educate the public about the benefits of using high quality FOSS in various fields, may that be government, at home, at business or at anywhere that one can imagine of.

Last year, this event was organized by FOSS Nepal Community and this year they are giving continuity to it. This year the theme of this event is “Software Freedom to Promote Entrepreneurship”.

This year several governmental organizations and private companies are supporting this event. Nearly all software communities of Nepal are celebrating this event tomorrow to bring impact on their own communities and to boost their activities.
