The Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s plan to build a smart parking area in Dharmapath was formulated a while back. The plan was to build a multi-story parking facility on Dharmapath, which is finally taking shape. The city has called for Expression of Interest (EOI) from contractors with 15 days.
The estimated time to build the facility is one year and it is expected to accommodate up to 500 vehicles. It will have various features like pre-booking and electronic parking billing system. A mobile application will be used to pay and pre-book parking spots.
