Samsung is reportedly preparing to launch its camera-centric smartphone series in India. This is supposedly a mid-range series and will use the Galaxy F moniker.

As per a recent report from 91mobiles, these phones are expected to retail in the INR 15,000-20,000 ($200-$270) segment and could launch as early as next month in India.
Camera-centric Samsung Galaxy F Series Rumors
The Galaxy F series is expected to be online exclusive much like its M-series. However, the company may consider bringing it to the offline market at a later stage, just like it did with the Galaxy M series.
Ahead of the announcement, a user manual was posted on Samsung India’s support page. It mentions the model number SM-F415F. Previously, it was rumored to be the affordable folding phone from Samsung.
However, a report from SamMobile confirms that SM-F415F isn’t a foldable device, and it’s instead a variant of the Galaxy M31. The report also cites a Wi-Fi Alliance certificate for the SM-F415F which mentions M315 as the firmware version of the device.

And as it happens, Samsung Galaxy M31 also has the same firmware and a matching spec sheet. Therefore, it has been suspected that the SM-F415F could be the first phone from the Galaxy F series with a similar spec as that of the Galaxy M31.
I hope this is not true because this means we will be getting another Samsung phone with Exynos 9611. Just for your information, Samsung M31 has a 6.4-inch FHD Super AMOLED display, 64MP quad cameras, and 6000 mAh battery.
If we are to follow these rumors, it looks like the Samsung Galaxy F series will be similar to the M-series but with an improved camera setup. Also, it will be launching within the same price segment.
So, it will be interesting to see how the F series will separate itself from the M-series. We will have to wait and see how good the camera performance of the Galaxy F series will be. But, I really hope that they don’t use the Exynos 9611 again.
