Ripple, a Nepali OEM, has finally launched the Ripple Nova series with the latest 12th Gen Intel CPUs.

Design

The laptop measures 19.9mm thick and weighs 1.91kg. It features a full-size RGB backlit keyboard with a numeric keypad. The laptop has an aluminium alloy body, but the bottom is plastic.

For the ports, it has three USB-A (2x 3.1 Gen 1, 1x USB 2.0), a USB-C Gen 2, an HDMI 2.1, an SD card reader slot, two audio ports (1x audio out, 1x mic in), an RJ45 port.

Display

The laptop has a 15.6-inch FHD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It’s an IPS LCD panel with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

The side and the top bezels are minimal, but it has a relatively bigger chin.

Hardware

It is powered by the latest Intel Core i5-12500HCPU and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU with a 95W total graphics power (TGP).

The CPU has 12 cores, comprising four P-cores and eight E-cores, and 16 threads. There are two SO-DIMM slots for RAM and two M.2 slots for SSDs. The base model comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage.

Battery and Others

The laptop comes with a 47Wh battery and a 150W adapter.

It runs on Windows 11 out-of-the-box and has an HD webcam and an IR webcam.
