Design and Display

The Genos series of laptops are made for performance. So, these are not your typical gaming laptops. It is made with high-quality components and weighs 2.6 KG.

It packs various ports such as 1x USB 2.0 Type-A, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2, 1× USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, 1× Mini Display Port 1.4, 1× HDMI 2.0, 1× headphone-out, 1× mic-in, 1× RJ45, and 1× card reader.

Both Genos and Genos Pro also have a thin bezel around their 15.6-inch FHD IPS display. The displays are also 144Hz display which is sublime for competitive games.

Hardware

Genos gets a Ryzen 7 3700X, a desktop grade CPU and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 8GB. Similarly, the Pro model will come with Ryzen 9 3900X and RTX 2070. These laptops are also built around the AMD B450 motherboard as they use desktop-grade CPU. The GPUs are also the Max-P version instead of the MAX-Q variant that we see on normal laptops.

Both laptops will have 8GB GDDR6 RAM and 256GB SSD which can be upgraded up to 64GB RAM, 2TB SSD, and an extra 1TB HDD.

Furthermore, both laptops will include HD stereo speakers with Sound Blaster Cinema 6 which allows users to configure the audio settings.
