Purple Launches Three New Earbuds in Nepal

Purple, a Nepali consumer electronics company, has expanded its audio product line with the introduction of three new earbuds: Purple Buds Pro, Purple Gamerz, and Purple Buds Lite.

Purple Gamerz is a gaming earbud with gaming looks. Purple Buds Lite and Buds Pro, on the other hand, are regular earbuds of two different price ranges.

Purple Gamerz

As the name suggests, Purple Gamerz is a true wireless stereo (TWS) earbud targeted at gamers. It has an aggressive look with LED lights to give off a gaming vibe.

The Purple Gamerz price in Nepal is Rs. 3,299.

Both left and right earbuds also have lights on them. The charging case has a USB-C port for charging. Each earbud has a 10mm audio driver.

For connectivity, it has support for Bluetooth 5.3 with a 10-meter range. It only supports SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs.

Each earbud has a 40mAh battery, while the charging case has a 250mAh battery. Purple claims a single full charge can deliver 6–8 hours of continuous playback time. According to the company, it takes around an hour to charge the earbuds using the case and 1.5 hours to fully charge the case.

Purple Buds Lite

Unlike the gaming earbuds from Purple, Purple Buds Lite is a regular budget TWS earbud. It comes with a rounded charging case with a small charging indicator on it.

The Purple Buds Lite price in Nepal is Rs. 2,499.

The earbuds have a 13mm audio driver. It supports Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity. It relies on SBC and AAC codecs for transmission. For control, you can tap on the earbuds to do specific tasks such as play/pause music, skip a song, and more.

The 250mAh case has a USB-C port for charging, which can be fully charged from zero percent in around 1.5 hours, while the case takes around an hour to charge the earbuds.

An earbud has a 30mAh battery. A single full charge of the earbuds can last 5 to 8 hours of playback.

Purple Buds Pro

Purple Buds Pro is the Pro version of the Purple Buds Lite. It is a more expensive TWS earbud, which hopefully provides a better sound experience.

The Purple Buds Pro price in Nepal is Rs. 3,799.

The width of the Purple Buds Pro’s is longer, similar to the dimension of the AirPods Pro. The earbuds themselves also look identical to the AirPods Pro with its silicon ear tips.

Spec-wise, the Buds Pro is identical to the Buds Lite, at least on paper. It has a 13mm dynamic audio driver and support for Bluetooth 5.3. It also only supports SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs.

The battery on each earbud is 30mAh, while the charging case has a 250mAh battery, The charging case can take around an hour to charge the earbuds, which will provide up to 8 hours of playback time.

The charging case charges via a USB Type-C port. To charge the case, it takes around 1.5 hours.

Purple Earbuds in Nepal

These are the newly launched Purple earbuds in Nepal. The Purple Gamerz is the second gaming earbud from the company, the first being the Purple PEB-002.

For day-to-day use, the Purple Earbuds Buds Lite or Buds Pro can be a good option for you, depending on your budget.
