“Data-a-thon”, a pre-event of the International Open Data Day 2018 is set to be organized on the 28th of February. The event is being hosted by Open Knowledge Nepal (OKN) and Center for Data Journalism Nepal (CDJN) with the help of other civil society organizations.
The Data-a-thon which usually happens a week before the main event will see participation from different print and online journalist from mainstream media outlets, and the representatives of different youth and tech organizations.
The event will include presentations, idea discussions, and hands-on workshops.The results of the Data-a-thon will be showcased in the main event, scheduled on 3rd March, 2018.
Open Data Day is an annual event that celebrates open data all over the world.
