OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G with Snapdragon 695 Processor Launching Soon in Nepal

OnePlus is preparing to launch a new smartphone in its Nord series, calling it the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite. The smartphone, which is a mouthful to name, is arriving in Nepal soon.

What is the Price of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G in Nepal?

The official price of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G in Nepal has not been disclosed yet. However, based on the pricing of past OnePlus devices in Nepal, it is expected that this smartphone will retail at around Rs. 48,000.

Historically, OnePlus devices in Nepal have been priced similarly to the European market and not the Indian market, suggesting a similar pricing for the Nord CE 4 Lite as well.

Once launched, the smartphone will be available for purchase at physical retailers and online stores.

The Nord CE 4 Lite, a new midrange smartphone from OnePlus, comes with an AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, dual cameras, and a 5500mAh battery that supports fast charging.

Upon further research, this phone is the same as the Oppo K12x smartphone in terms of both design and specifications, which leads us to believe that the Nord CE 4 Lite is just a rebranded K12x.

However, the concerning factor is that the Nord CE 4 Lite is priced at €320 in Europe, which is more than double (exactly 53% more) the price of the Oppo K12x, which costs €170 in the European market.

OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G Overview

Design

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G is a 1:1 copy of the Oppo K12x while also resembling the OnePlus Nord CE4. It features a plastic build with a solid-colored back panel decorated with the OnePlus logo at the center. Both the side rails and back panel are made of plastic.

The rear panel includes cutouts for the dual cameras and twin flash. They are surrounded by a pill-shaped border that gives an island-like aesthetic.

The smartphone’s flat side rails feature the power button and volume rockers on the right side, while the left side houses the SIM card tray. On the bottom, you’ll find the USB-C port, microphone, 3.5mm headphone jack, and the main speaker grille.

Display

OnePlus has equipped the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel that has a resolution of 2400 x 1800 pixels. It has a hole punch cutout on the top center for the selfie camera.

The symmetrical display has a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz and reaches a peak brightness of 2100 nits. It also features OnePlus’ Aqua Touch technology, enabling operation even with wet hands. Finally, to wrap up this section, the display includes an optical fingerprint sensor underneath.

Hardware

Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor. The 6nm octa-core chip has 2x 2.2 GHz Kryo 660 Gold high performance cores and 6x 1.7 GHz Kryo 660 Silver efficiency cores.

The chip, which has remained the same since the OnePlusNord CE 2 Lite, is a decent lower-midrange processor and can handle casual games quite well while breezing past daily tasks. Handling the graphics is an Adreno 619 co-processor.

In terms of memory, the phone comes with 256GB UFS 2.2 storage and 8GB RAM. The phone supports virtual RAM up to 8GB and microSD card expansion up to 2TB. Lastly, the phone features a dual-speaker setup that supports 300% Ultra Volume Mode.

Cameras

The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite has a single 50MP rear camera with OIS that has an aperture of f/1.95 and features a Sony LYT-600 sensor. The other camera on the back is a 2MP, f/2.4 depth sensor.

On the front, there’s a 16MP f/2.4 camera. Both the front and the rear cameras can record videos up to 1080p at 30 fps.

Battery and OS

OnePlus has equipped the Nord CE4 Lite with a 5500mAh battery that supports the company’s 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. They claim the battery can charge from 1% to 100% in just 52 minutes.

The Nord CE4 Lite 5G comes with Android 14, with OxygenOS 14 skin on top. The software includes AI features and, according to OnePlus, will receive two major Android updates and three years of security updates.
