
As per a media release, Ncell started the service in these areas on January 7. All Ncell users with 4G SIM (U-SIM) with 4G compatible mobile phones can use the services.
Ncell first launched its 4G services in Kathmandu on June 1. Then it expanded to Lalitpur, Bhaktapur (including Nagarkot), Banepa, Dhulikhel, Pokhara, and Damauli. On August 1, it expanded to Biratnagar, Birtamode, Damak, Dharan, Bharatpur, Hetauda, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Butwal, and Nepalgunj. Then lastly, it expanded to Kohalpur and Birendranagar on September 1.
With the two recent additions of Lahan and Dhandgadhi, 21 cities have Ncell 4G. This means that Ncell is available to 15 percent of total population.
Ncell is now looking to expand in other places as well.
