Design

The Mi NoteBook Ultra has a clean unibody design made of a 6 series aluminium body. The outer lid has a Xiaomi branding. It has air vents on the bottom and two bottom-firing speakers.

The laptop measures 17.9mm in thickness and weighs 1.7kg. It also features a fingerprint sensor embedded in a power button. Furthermore, it has a backlit keyboard with 1.5mm key travel.

In terms of ports, the notebook has two USB Type-A ports (1x 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB 2.0), two USB Type-C ports (2x Power Delivery, 1x Thunderbolt 4), an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.

Display

It has a 15.6-inch IPS LCD display, and Xiaomi calls it the Mi TrueLife+ Display. It’s a display with 3200 x 2000 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

The display covers 100% sRGB colour space and has a 16:10 aspect ratio. Above the display is a 720p webcam.

Hardware

The notebook is powered by an Intel Core i7-11370H processor that has an integrated Iris Xe Graphics. The CPU has four cores and eight threads with a max turbo frequency of 4.8GHz.

It comes with 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD. For connectivity, the laptop supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1.

Battery and Others

Fueling the Mi NoteBook Ultra is a 70Wh battery. To charge the battery, it comes with a 65W charger that charges via USB-C.

It boots on Windows 11 and also comes pre-installed with MS Office Home and Student Edition 2019.

The QHD+ 16:10 display on the Mi NoteBook Ultra features a refresh rate of 90Hz. Its design is clean and attractive, thanks to its premium aluminum unibody. The battery capacity is likewise good, and the i7-11370H is a capable CPU that should offer good performance.

However, it’s a thin and light laptop with no dedicated graphics card, so it may not be suitable for heavy tasks such as gaming.
