LOCUS 2017 is all set to happen next month, from February 9 to February 11 at Pulchowk Campus, Lalitpur. It is an annual technological exhibition organized by a student body represented by the undergrads of Department of Electronics, Computer and Electrical Engineering of IOE, Central Campus.

LOCUS 2017 is the 14th event that is being organized in a row – without a miss from 2003.
Each year, the event has a theme, and for this year it’s “Renovating Society”. Keeping hold to the theme, the event aims to provide a platform to young and creative minds to help them showcase their innovative hardware and software projects that can be instrumental in bringing a positive impact on the society. However, the event will also witness few projects that do not relate to the theme. And for this reason, the event is planned to be divided into two categories, the project that relates to the theme and those that don’t.

During all three days of the event, the projects will be exhibited. The best project will be honored and rewarded by the organizing committee at the end of the event.
No entry cost is associated with the event so, anyone who’s interested to see and learn about the projects is invited by the committee.
