Leagoo, a Chinese smartphone company has announced the arrival of Leagoo P1 in Nepal. Like every other smartphone company in Nepal, Leagoo also specializes in manufacturing the budget mobile phones and so is the Leagoo P1. This phone is labeled as a low budget phone. Although the price has not been revealed yet the estimated price is around Rs.13,000.
Specification Outline
Leagoo P1 comes with a 5.00-inch IPS display. It has a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels. This phone is powered by MediaTek MT680A Quad-Core processor. It has a 1GB of RAM with an internal storage of 8GB that can be expanded with may be a dedicated microSD card. For Graphics, the P1 is powered by a Mali-400 MP2 GPU.
Leagoo P1 runs on Android v.7.0 (Nougat). It features double-tape wake to wake up from the locked screen. Apart from this, it comprises of a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro-USB plug on the bottom of the phone. Camerawise, this phone has a dual setup rear facing camera of 8MP and 5MP. It is also built with dual flash. On the front side, this phone has a 5MP camera with f/2.8 aperture.
Backing up the phone is a high capacity Li-Polymer battery of 4000mAh capacity. Leagoo P1 comes with 3G connectivity. Unfortunately, this phone doesn’t support 4G connectivity.

Impression
Leagoo P1 is a budget phone having low-end specifications. If all the software component like memory management and multitasking is optimized then this phone would be perfect in this price range. In fact, sales of this phone can definitely go high. Few things like RAM and internal storage size could be increased but Leagoo has stood its ground on the given specifications. Well, the plus side of this phone is the camera. Even in this price range, you are getting a dual rear camera and a decent front-faced camera.
Let’s hope that this phone has a good software management system that can handle the system and apps in an optimal way.
