Impressions

Leagoo M5 Edge is a budget smartphone. It features a decent MT6737 chip with a Cortex-A53 processor. MaliT720 with 2GB RAM is ideal for multitasking and gaming. 16GB storage may not be enough for many users but it can be easily expanded up to 128GB via microSD. The front and rear camera look amazing for its price tag. The smartphone does claim itself to be ideal for shooting. It runs on custom Freeme UI derived from Android Marshmallow with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.

Now for some bad news, the device has a removable Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery. Compared to the rest of the hardware, this is disappointing. A heavy user might need to charge their device at least once or twice in a day. This does not help it to become an ideal daily driver.

Leagoo M5 Edge is a good phone for its price tag. Despite its shortcomings and terrible battery life. If you are looking for a budget smartphone with decent specs, this might be the phone you are looking for!
