Infinix has been making waves lately, rolling out budget-friendly phones with wireless charging and powerful processors that deliver exceptional value.

Hot 60 Pro Series

And now, Infinix is keeping the streak alive with the Hot 60 Pro and Pro+, serving up a slick design and a gorgeous display.

The Infinix Hot 60 Pro and Pro+ are the successors to last year’s Hot 50 Pro and Pro+. Interestingly, for Nepali buyers, the predecessor was launched only in June, so this upgrade has arrived surprisingly fast.

On paper, the Hot 60 series packs some solid specs: a sleek design, a sharp 1.5K AMOLED display, and reasonably decent performance.

And just like how Infinix partnered with PUBG and Mobile Legends for the GT 30 Pro, this time they’ve teamed up with Free Fire. That means you get some exclusive perks, like themed wallpapers and a unique icon style to match the game’s vibe.

Infinix Hot 60 Pro Series Overview

Design

Just like its predecessor, the Infinix Hot 50 series, the 60 Pro and Pro+ variants sport a flat and a curved design, respectively. And at just Rs. 27,000, the Pro+ model looks like a bargain from a design standpoint.

But the major changes lie in the phone’s thickness. Both the 60 Pro and Pro+ come in at 6.6mm and 5.95mm, respectively. These numbers are pretty impressive, considering the latest Samsung S25 Edge has a thickness of 5.8mm. Seeing that it’s a budget phone, this is a thumbs-up in my book.

Adding to the premium feel, both models feature an Aerospace Aluminum inner frame, giving them better durability without adding bulk. Besides that, the Pro variant comes in a plastic or eco-leather back, while the Pro+ has a fiberglass or eco-leather back. Both phones also use a plastic frame.

The ingress rating also gets a bump from the regular IP54 to IP64 on the Pro model and IP65 for the Pro+. And like with the Hot 50 Pro series, Infinix has favored the 60 Pro+ with slightly better audio thanks to JBL-tuned speakers.

Unfortunately, with such a thin phone, the 3.5mm jack and microSD card slot are missing as well on the Pro+.

Along the sides, you’ll find the usual volume rocker and power button. But this time, the 60 Pro also gets a dedicated AI button, a handy addition that lets you instantly launch the AI voice assistant or even customize it to open your favorite apps in just one click.

Display

The display size remains the same, with a large 6.78-inch AMOLED panel. But Infinix has managed to cram in a lot of pixels, 1224 x 2720, to be exact. This makes it a 1.5K resolution display, which is really impressive for a phone in the Rs. 20,000 range.

That resolution, paired with the big display, delivers a crisp pixel density of 440 PPI, so you can expect sharp visuals and clearer images. The bezels are fairly thin as well. They’re not perfectly symmetrical, but that’s quite common for budget phones.

And I haven’t even gotten to the best part, the ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. It’s still uncertain if the phone can fully utilize that refresh rate in all scenarios, but the numbers look promising.

Brightness is another strong point, with 700 nits typical brightness, 1600 nits in HBM, and an eye-popping 4500 nits peak. That should make outdoor visibility a non-issue.

The display specs on the 60 Pro and 60 Pro+ are exactly the same. However, the 3D curved design of the Pro+ gives it a visual edge and adds to its premium feel.

Helio G200, A Rebranded G100?

Both the Hot 60 Pro and Pro+ draw their power from the MediaTek Helio G200, a chip that was just announced in May 2025. This is essentially an updated version of the Helio G100, which powered the previous Hot 50 series.

Just like the Hot 50 series debuted the G100, the Hot 60 series is also the first in Nepal to launch with the G200 SoC.

Performance-wise, the G200 offers only minimal improvements over its predecessor and is widely seen as more of a rebrand than a true upgrade. It almost feels like MediaTek is trying to pass off an existing chip as something new—without any substantial performance boost.

That said, the G200 is still a solid performer for the price. It features an octa-core CPU built on a 6nm process, with clock speeds of up to 2.2GHz.

In terms of memory, both models come with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, expandable virtually to 16GB, and 128GB of internal storage. The Hot 60 Pro also supports microSD card expansion up to 2TB, but sadly, the Pro+ misses out on this feature.

Camera

The camera setup on both the 60 Pro and Pro+ is largely identical. Each sports a triple-camera module, though, judging by Infinix’s spec sheet, it seems only one of them is truly functional.

That’s the main 50MP shooter. On the 60 Pro+, this is a SONY IMX882 sensor, the same one used in popular phones like the POCO F7, which is definitely a promising sign. Unfortunately, the 60 Pro doesn’t specify which sensor it’s using, leaving some room for doubt.

Up front, both phones feature a 13MP selfie camera. They also support video recording at up to 2K resolution at 30fps and come equipped with dual LED flashes on both the front and rear.

With such an impressive display, sleek design, and respectable performance, something had to give, and it looks like the camera department took the hit. Infinix made some compromises here to keep the price as competitive as it is.

Battery and OS

Now, let’s get back to some impressive specs, starting with the lithium-ion 5,160mAh battery. On the Hot 60 Pro, that’s pretty standard. But on the Hot 60 Pro+, it’s genuinely impressive considering how thin it is.

Charging has also been bumped up from 33W to a respectable 45W wired fast charging, and this time, both phones support Bypass charging, handy for gaming or extended use without overheating the battery.

On the software side, both models ship with XOS 15.1.1, based on Android 15. However, Infinix has yet to confirm how many years of OS upgrades or security patches these devices will get.

Infinix Hot 60 Pro Series Price in Nepal and Availability

The Infinix Hot 60 Pro and Pro+ prices in Nepal are Rs. 20,999 and Rs. 26,999 for the 8/128GB variant. Both phones are now available for purchase in Infinix-authorized online and retail stores

Pro [8/128GB] Rs. 20,999
Pro+ [8/128GB] Rs. 26,999

Looks like Infinix has really been cooking lately. As I mentioned before, they’ve been delivering banger after banger, and the Hot 60 Series is no exception. Packed with raw specs, a striking design, an excellent 144Hz display, and a solid battery that also supports Bypass charging, it ticks almost every box.

Performance could be a touch better, but credit where it’s due, Infinix has been steadily improving, moving from the G99 in the Hot 40 Pro, to the G100 in the Hot 50 Pro, and now the G200 in the Hot 60 Pro. That’s a clear progression, unlike some brands that recycle the same chip year after year.

And with heavyweights like Redmi slipping in the budget segment, Infinix might just be poised to claim the crown, offering some of the best specs around while keeping prices aggressively competitive.
