Honor 8S Pro with Helio A22 Launched in Nepal

Honor Nepal has launched the Honor 8S Pro in Nepal. It’s the variant of the Honor 8s which was launched in Nepal a few months ago.

Honor 8S Pro price in Nepal is Rs. 13,800 and is available in Blue color. It is available to purchase via authorized retailers and stores.

It is exactly the same as the Honor 8S. The only change comes in the RAM and Storage.

Honor 8S Pro Overview

Design

Honor 8S Pro uses a plastic back with a single camera on the rear. It doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor. It has a dual texture body with a slightly off-colored stripe along the lines of the camera module.

On the front, it has a dewdrop notch.

Display

Honor 8S Pro has a 5.71 inches Full View display. It has a screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels with 295 PPI pixel density.

The screen is also the same as the Honor 8S with sizeable bezels and chin.

Hardware

Honor 8S Pro features an Helio A22 chipset which is decent at this price tag. It has a Quad-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and PowerVR GE8320 GPU which is quite common in this segment.

It provides 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which is rare for the price tag. Its hardware is definitely not the strongest in the segment as phones like Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C have more powerful hardware. But, the Honor 8S Pro has good enough hardware.

Camera

Talking about the camera, you will get a 13MP, f/1.8 at the rear.

On the front, it has a 5mp f/2.2 sensor for selfies. It is capable of capturing videos at 1080p 30fps from the rear camera.

Battery

Honor 8S Pro has a 3020 mAh battery which is definitely not impressive. But it should be enough for a day of use. For charging, it comes with normal 10W charging.

Furthermore, it runs on EMUI 9 on top of Android 9.

Honor 8s Pro is a decent phone for the price. It doesn’t provide a fingerprint sensor that you can get for the price from other phones. However, its 3GB RAM and 64GB storage are quite good for the price. Also, it’s Helio A22 chipset is not the most powerful chipset as it only has a quad-core CPU.
