Eicher Polaris Multix Launched in Nepal at 12.50 Lakhs

Baba Automata Trading Pvt. Limited has launched a 3-in-1 personal utility vehicle called Multix in Nepal. It is manufactured and exported by Eicher Polaris Pvt. Ltd. (EPPL), which is a 50:50 joint venture between Eicher Motors Ltd. and Polaris Industries Inc. EPPL combines Eicher’s proven expertise in frugal engineering, lean business model and in-depth understanding of emerging markets with the excellent product development capabilities and world class reliability of Polaris.

Multix is a purpose-built vehicle for independent businessmen. It is a 3-in-1 personal-utility vehicle where the three parts are family, business, and power. From family to business to power, Multix takes care of ones ever evolving needs. It is first of its kind and a game changer as the new 3-in-1. Multix seats a family of 5 with ease and can take on the roughest terrain comfortably. It is built to protect against impacts for the safety of your loved ones. The Multix is also suitable for road trips, outings and family vacations as the ground clearance is 172mm. As for utility, Multix has a boot space of 418 liters and with the back seat folded, a total of 1918 liters. So, you have space large enough to carry anything you want and get the job done.

For the third part i.e., power, Multix has a feature called ‘The X-Port‘ which makes the vehicle act like a generator. It can generate up to 3 kilowatts of electricity which is enough to light up your home and power music systems, agricultural machinery, water pumps and other essential machinery.

Multix is powered by a single cylinder 4-stroke 652cc naturally aspirated direct injection BS-IV complaint diesel engine which produces a max power of 13.4PS and max torque of 37Nm. The engine is coupled with a manual gearbox (4 forward, 1 reverse) which, as per the company, will consume less than a liter of fuel for every hour of electricity generated. The fuel tank capacity is 11.5 ltrs and fuel economy is 28.45 kmpl.
