Cleveland CycleWerks Launching Soon in Nepal; Price Starts at Rs. 3.79 Lakhs

With all the new brands of motorcycles making its debut, it has been difficult to keep track of things. In a span of few months, we saw the launch of BMW, MV AGUSTA, Harley Davidson, SWM and so many others trying to capture the Nepali market. Yet again, we add another one to the list: Cleveland CycleWerks.

Yes, it’s a second American motorcycle brand, after Harley Davidson, making its way into Nepal. However, unlike the other American brand, this one is actually affordable.

Cleveland CycleWerks will start off with four new motorcycles: Ace Deluxe, Ace Scrambler, FXR 125, and Mis Fit. Moreover, these will follow more scrambler-oriented design. Meaning these motorcycles will excel at off-roading and rough terrain.

The process is currently underway to officially launch the brand by the end of January. In the meantime, you can look at all the Cleveland CycleWerks bikes price in Nepal along with its key specification.

Ace Scrambler

One look at the Ace Scrambler will remind you a lot about the SMW’s Silver Vase 440. However, the comparison ends there. Ace Scrambler is a completely different machine. You get a 229cc air-cooled single cylinder OHV engine. Additionally, you can generate up to 15.4HP of max power and 16Nm of max torque. Other than that, worthy mentions should include the excellent design and a larger fuel tank. Although, lack of ABS and low ground clearance is a major disappointment.

Under the hood, there isn’t much difference between its more expensive sibling. You get similar performance with similar experience. Few differences include design changes, smaller fuel tank, and weight. Similarities include a 229cc air-cooled single cylinder OHV engine mated to a 5-speed transmission. Additionally, you can generate up to 15.4HP of max power and 16Nm of max torque same as Ace Scrambler. Moreover, this one also lacks ABS and suffers from low ground clearance.

FXR 125

FXR 125 looks unique… that is all to be said. Based on looks alone, it isn’t your average performance bike nor a commuter. You get a dedicated off-roading machine. It’s light-weight, easy maneuvering, and extreme handling. Unlike the others on the list, you get a 125cc peppier engine mated to a 4-speed transmission. Also, you can generate 8.3HP of max power and 8.5Nm of max torque. Moreover, there isn’t any fancy instrument cluster or ABS. Well, it isn’t much but considering what it is built for, it may just be enough.

Okay, time address few things. Yes, the bike does look different. And a mere 3.2L fuel tank doesn’t really help. I get what Cleveland CycleWerks is trying to introduce. But it’s a completely new genre and there isn’t enough market for people to jump with excitement on a dedicated off-roading machine. Maybe, sometime in the future?
