Best Phones Under 35000 in Nepal (February 2026 Updated)

I’ve always said that Rs. 30,000 is where phones start getting interesting. You can check out our list of the best phones under Rs. 30,000 and see for yourself just how compelling the options are.

I’ve also mentioned that the Rs. 30,000 segment acts as a foundation, with more expensive phones simply building on what’s already offered here. You already see this trend starting in this list of the best phones under Rs. 35,000. So…

What to Expect?

The Rs. 35,000 bracket acts as a buffer between the Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 40,000 price points. As a result, genuinely new offerings are fairly limited, as you’ll notice while going through the list. Most options here are simply higher-storage variants of phones from the segment below.

There are a few new entries as well, but they largely offer a similar overall experience. So realistically, you shouldn’t expect a major jump in features or performance by moving up to this price point.

*While this list is for the best phones under 35000 in Nepal, it may contain phones that exceed the price tag by up to Rs. 1,000. This is so that you don’t miss out on a solid choice due to a technicality.

5. Motorola Moto G85

Motorola Moto G85

Motorola Moto G85 has a sleek and premium design and very competitive specs. However, the pricing of this phone is a bit steep, which is why it sits at the bottom of this list of the best phones under 35000 in Nepal.

PRICING

Rs. 34,499 (8/128GB) | Rs. 37,499 (12/256GB)

KEY SPECS
6.67” 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED
Snapdragon 6s Gen 3

5,000mAh | 33W Fast Charging

Pros

  • Premium design
  • Good performance

Cons

  • Weak value proposition
  • Limited software support

Thoughts on Motorola Moto G85

The Motorola Moto G85 looks absolutely stunning with its curved design and vegan leather finish. It is arguably the best-looking phone in this list.

The rest of its specs are quite good too. The Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 powering it is one of the more potent processors in this list. It also has a dual-camera setup with a 50MP main and an 8MP ultrawide. Its 5,000mAh battery and 33W charging are commendable too.

Latest Mobile Prices

That being said, this phone falls short in two major areas: software and pricing. Wait… let me clarify on the software part. It isn’t the software that’s the issue; it’s the updates. Motorola’s Hello UI or My UX is one of the nicer Android skins. It may not be the most sophisticated among the bunch, but its mostly clean nature gives it a hint of premiumness.

However, the Motorola Moto G85 boots on Android 14 out of the box and is only slated to receive two OS updates. That means it will receive Android 16 within this year, and it will be the last update it gets. But the thing is, Motorola’s track record with software updates isn’t the best. The bottom line is, if you do get this phone now, you will likely have to settle for not getting updates for the rest of the time you spend with it.

Then there is the pricing. It only offers 128GB for Rs 34,499, while all other options offer double the storage at nearly the same price. So, the value proposition on this phone is on the weaker side. However, if you could grab it during offers, then it is one of the better deals. But judging by its regular MRP, it does cost wee a bit premium.

4. Samsung Galaxy A17

Samsung Galaxy A17

Samsung’s A-series is a staple of the midrange segment, offering decent hardware paired with excellent software support. Samsung’s brand recognition definitely adds to its appeal.

PRICING

Rs. 34,999 (8/256GB)

KEY SPECS
6.7” 90Hz FHD+ AMOLED
Samsung Exynos 1330
50MP+5MP+2MP | 13MP
5,000mAh | 25W Fast Charging

Pros

  • Great software
  • Longevity

Cons

  • Old-school display

Thoughts on Samsung Galaxy A17

This secured the silver medal in our best phones under Rs. 30,000 list, alongside its lower-series sibling, the Galaxy M17. If we’re being completely honest, it was the M17 that did most of the heavy lifting for that spot.

Now, with the budget stretched by another Rs. 5,000, the Galaxy A17 doesn’t look quite as compelling. The hardware is still decent for the segment, One UI remains one of the best Android skins around, and Samsung’s promise of six years of software updates is genuinely impressive.

However, those strengths can only carry it so far. When the A17 is among the pricier models on this list, its dated front design with thick bezels and a waterdrop cutout starts to stand out for the wrong reasons, especially when cheaper rivals offer sleeker aesthetics.

At Rs. 34,999, the pricing feels hard to justify, more so when the Galaxy M17 looks almost identical on paper and costs over Rs. 10,000 less. Yes, you do get double the storage and a handful of minor tweaks, but the price gap simply doesn’t feel proportional.

As a result, the Galaxy A17 feels like a weaker value in the face of stiff competition. That said, taken in isolation, it’s still a solid and dependable phone.

3. ZTE Nubia Air

ZTE Nubia Air

The ZTE Nubia Air packs an industry-standard battery and IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings, all in a slim 5.9mm frame. Beyond that, the specs are mediocre, making it mostly a style statement.

PRICING

Rs. 33,999 (8/256GB)

KEY SPECS
6.78” 120Hz 1.5K AMOLED
UNISOC T8300
50MP | 20MP
5,000mAh | 33W Fast Charging

Pros

  • Unique design
  • Durability (IP68/IP69/IP69K)

Cons

  • No multi-camera system
  • Bloat-heavy software

Thoughts on ZTE Nubia Air

The ZTE Nubia Air has a slim 5.9mm frame, which might make it feel like you could snap it in half with your bare hands. But it’s actually built very well. It carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, meaning it can survive being dunked in water and endure high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. (IP69 and IP69K are interchangeable, so having both doesn’t add extra value.)

On the front, it features a high-quality AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. Clearly, ZTE has focused heavily on durability, likely so that its users feel confident about its slim frame.

It packs the UNISOC T8300 chipset, 8GB RAM (expandable to 20GB combined memory), and a 5,000mAh battery — all of which are just… fine. So, it’s more about the looks than about the specs.

What’s disappointing with this phone is the camera. It’s a 50MP main shooter, which by itself wasn’t the issue. The problem here is that the phone presents itself as a three-camera setup, which feels misleading since two of the rear lenses are just duds.

Overall, it’s a solid device and quite similar to the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ with similar specs and a ridiculously slim frame. That being said, it naturally attracts comparisons with the Redmi Note 15 4G too. To which, 5G compatibility and better performance of the UNISOC T8300 and the cheaper pricing feel more attractive to us, and as such, ZTE Nubia Air earns a place on our list of the best phones under Rs. 35,000 in Nepal.

2. CMF Phone 1

CMF Phone 1

The gold medallist from our best phones under Rs. 30,000 list now sits second in the best phones under Rs. 35,000 category. A top-two finish across two price brackets explains why it bagged the “Best Value Phone” title at the 2024 TechLekh Awards.

PRICING

Rs. 31,699 (8/128GB) | Rs. 36,299 (8/256GB)

KEY SPECS
6.7” 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED
MediaTek Dimensity 7300
50MP+2MP | 16MP
5,000mAh | 33W Fast Charging

Pros

  • Great performance
  • Good software
  • Modular design

Cons

  • Lacks a multi-camera system
  • Older model

Thoughts on CMF Phone 1

The CMF Phone 1 bagged first place in our best phones under Rs. 30,000 list, albeit with a bit of a special-case scenario where it would occasionally be available slightly above the Rs. 30,000 mark. Under normal circumstances, though, it’s priced at Rs. 31,699 for the 128GB variant and Rs. 36,299 for the 256GB variant.

And for that price, we get one of the best performances, thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 7300! The rest of the phone holds up well, too — especially the software. Phones in this price bracket rarely offer a truly refined software experience, but that’s one area where CMF and Nothing consistently deliver.

Even though some time has passed since the CMF Phone 1’s release, it remains one of the best phones you can buy at this budget and still feels like one of the most complete packages out there. But that is also its weakness — it’s old. It launched with Android 14 and two years of promised updates, meaning Android 16 is the last update it will receive, which by now, should’ve already rolled out.

So, if you do get the CMF Phone 1, you are not getting any further updates. It’s the same situation as the Motorola Moto G85. And it also has a single camera system, which feels like a bit of a compromise.

Despite how good a phone the CMF Phone 1 is, it faces tough competition in the under Rs. 35,000 category and gets slightly edged out by just one phone — and that is…

1. Infinix Note 50s 5G+

Infinix Note 50s 5G+

The Infinix Note 50s 5G+ isn’t perfect, and it does have a few issues. But none of them run deep, and they’re easily outweighed by what this phone gets right — ultimately making it the best buy at this price.

PRICING

Rs. 35,999 (8/256GB)

KEY SPECS
6.7” 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED
MediaTek Dimensity 7300
50MP+2MP | 16MP
5,000mAh | 33W Fast Charging

Pros

  • Great performance
  • Good software
  • Good design

Cons

  • Increased pricing
  • Lacks a multi-camera system

Thoughts on Infinix Note 50s 5G+

One major complaint with this phone is that it looks like a multi-camera system, but it really isn’t. That’s a bit misleading, which, to be fair, isn’t unheard of in this price range. Still. Given that this phone nails almost everything else, an okay ultrawide snapper would’ve been much appreciated instead of two dummy lenses.

Then there’s the software. It’s received a massive facelift this time around, but it’s still nowhere near as fun or polished as Nothing OS or One UI. At best, it’s… serviceable. There’s also a slightly gimmicky vibe to parts of the phone (more on that later).

Now for the good stuff. Performance is excellent. I’ve already raved way too much about the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, and this phone runs on the same chip. What’s even better is that it puts out the best numbers among all the Dimensity 7300 phones we’ve tested.

The rest of the specs are solid too: 256GB storage, a 5,200mAh battery, 45W fast charging, and a high-resolution curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. All of this comes wrapped in a sleek design with a relatively slim frame.

And here’s the part that might feel gimmicky: the phone doesn’t just look good, it actually smells good too. I’m not even joking. The Marine Blue variant features a vegan-leather finish treated with perfume. So yes, the phone genuinely smells nice.

Which led to the following title for our review video:

That said, despite a recent price hike, the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ still doesn’t feel like a bad deal, which speaks volumes about how solid it is. It was originally priced at Rs 31,999, making it a no-brainer. But with the price gap to the CMF Phone 1 now down to just Rs 300, the “best phone at Rs 35,000” debate can go either way.

If you value a sleeker design and an extra year of software support, Infinix makes more sense. But if brand value and a cleaner software experience matter more and you’re okay with no future updates, then the CMF Phone 1 is just as compelling.

Honourable Mentions

Now that we have listed out our picks for the top 5 smartphones under 35000 in Nepal. Now we will round off this list with a few honourable mentions, consisting of phones that just missed the list or at least deserve a shout-out!

Redmi Note 14 5G

The Redmi Note 14 5G is one of the best phones you can get under Rs 35,000, and it even made it into the top 3 of this list originally. You got good enough performance, 512GB storage, and a dual-camera setup too.

However, this phone has already been succeeded by the Note 15 5G, which means its time in the market is very limited. The stock is nearly out, so if you do want to grab this phone, you should hurry up!

PRICING

Rs. 34,999 (12/512GB)

Honor X8c

Honor X8c

The Honor X8c offers decent overall specs, including a good AMOLED display, massive 512GB storage, and a dual-camera setup. However, it’s heavily held back by the Snapdragon 685 4G chipset, one of the weakest at this price.

For just Rs. 1,000 more, you can get the Redmi Note 14 5G, which matches the X8c’s 512GB storage while delivering better performance.

PRICING

Rs. 33,999 (8/512GB)

Tecno Spark 40 Pro

Tecno Spark 40 Pro

The Tecno Spark 40 Pro is a great phone that missed out on being in the best phones under Rs 30,000 list for having a price a bit too high. Looking at its price-to-specs ratio, this phone is actually very competitively priced.

Yet it missed a spot because its entry point is a bit too high. Now, at a budget of Rs 35,000, this phone sadly isn’t competitive enough. But if your budget is just shy of Rs 35,000, then the phone could be a good choice for you.

PRICING

Rs. 31,799 (8/256GB)

Realme Narzo 70 Pro

Realme Narzo 70 Pro

The Realme Narzo 70 Pro is a solid option at this price, with the Dimensity 7050 chipset, 67W fast charging, and a dual-camera setup. However, it has been on the market for a long time.

While it was a great pick in its day, it has since fallen victim to power creep. In the meantime, it’s also becoming increasingly difficult to find, with no online stock and only limited availability in physical stores.

PRICING

Rs. 33,999 (8/256GB)

In the meantime, feel free to check out our other lists for the best phones across different price ranges.
