Design

The 2023 version of the chassis has undergone a redesign, resulting in a 4.5% reduction in size compared to the previous design. There are two color options available, each featuring a different logo location. The Jaeger Gray edition showcases a large laser-sculpted design, while the Mecha Gray edition displays an embossed logo on the lid. Both designs display TUF Gaming’s mecha-inspired design in 3D.

Even when the clamshell is closed, the keyboard deck’s four-way indicators are visible, and the 26% larger touchpad boasts a mech-inspired TUF logo in the corner. The keyboard deck has also undergone a redesign, featuring a strong influence from the aesthetics of mecha anime.

The keyboard features Mini LED RGB backlighting, highlighted WASD accents, and Overstroke technology for faster responsiveness. Each key is durable enough to withstand over 20 million presses, Asus says.

The TUF Gaming A15 comes equipped with a range of ports, including a 3.5mm combo audio jack, HDMI 2.1 FRL, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports that support DisplayPort, power delivery, and G-SYNC, an RJ45 LAN port, a Type-C USB 4 port with DisplayPort support, and a Kensington lock.
