IME Pay app is now available in the Nepali language, making it easier for Nepali-speaking users to access the digital wallet. This feature was released for general users on the occasion of the English New Year 2023.
IME Pay was one of the first digital wallets in Nepal and was created with the goal of providing economic and financial services to areas where traditional banking is not available.
By supporting the Nepali language, IME Pay hopes to eliminate linguistic barriers and ensure that all individuals have equal access to digital financial transactions.
By adding the Nepali language option, IME Pay is able to introduce a language selection feature in its app, giving users the ability to choose the language they prefer for the app interface.
To access these new features, users should update their app if it is already installed, or download and install the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
To select the Nepali language in the app, existing users can update their app, go to their profile, and tap on the symbol EN on the right side. New users will have the language selection feature available to them immediately upon app installation.
With the language selection feature, users of the IME Pay app can now choose the language that they feel most comfortable using for their digital payment transactions. The IME Pay app offers a range of services, including the ability to receive remittances from abroad, send money using only a mobile number, pay for various services and facilities, and earn 7.13% interest on the balance in the app.
