Cleveland Cyclewerks, the authorized distributors of Cleveland motorcycles in Nepal, has announced pre-booking for their upcoming Cleveland motorcycles.

Previously, the American brand mostly focused on scramblers and retro-cruisers. However, the upcoming bikes will feature something different, an adventure-focused motorcycle.

Along with Hooligun 250, the Cleveland Cyclewerks is also bringing Hooligun 400 and Mutiny 400.

Design

Cleveland Hooligun is a modern take on a classic dirtbike. It checks off every list for a modern dirt bike, with its stylish looks and near-naked body.

We have seen an iteration of this kind of design before, yet Cleveland manages to put a sort of original take to it.

However, the overall design feels familiar, where the riders will feel right at home.

Performance

Cleveland Hooligun 250 is powered by a 250cc, Single-Cylinder, Liquid-Cooled Engine. It can generate a max power of 31.5 HP at 7000rpm and a max torque of 23.5Nm at 7000rpm. Moreover, it is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a 6.5-liter fuel capacity.

Talking about the suspension setup, it gets USD front forks and a single rear spring shock. Additionally, the braking performance is handled by Nissin Dual Disc brakes.

According to a Cleveland Nepal representative, the Hooligun is on its way to the Nepali market with a launch expected in January 2021.

Right now, the showroom features a sample unit for test riding purposes.

Comparing with the competition, Cleveland Hooligun competes against the likes of Crossfire 250 and CX 250. Except for visual exceptions, the overall specs replicate each other but offer a different feel.
