It has a ultra-light body design with a metal surface made up of aluminum alloy and a polycarbonate body casing. The surface has white indicators light for showing the amount of battery left. The Band weighs 5 grams and is IP67 water and dust resistant. It has a 41mAh lithium polymer battery claiming to last for 30 days. It connects via Bluetooth to any android device with Android 4.4 and above and apple devices with iOS 7.0 and above.

Mi Band 2 is the new addition to Xiaomi’s Mi Band series. It has most of the features of its predecessor, the Mi Band. But in addition to that, the Mi Band 2 has a new design with a 0.42” OLED display instead of the white indicators on the previous model, a heart rate sensor and a bigger battery as well. The OLED display on the front has a touch button at the bottom for waking up the device and switching between various features. On the back is the new heart rate sensor which measures your heart beat accurately to adjust the length and intensity of workouts. The Mi band 2 has a feature to buzz you if you have been sitting for too long as a reminder for a break or short walk.
