Applications Open For Social Business Challenge 2018

The Social Business Challenge 2018 is being organized by Yunus Social Business Center and King’s college in collaboration with a few other organizations. They have announced that the applications are open for the challenge.

The Details:

• The application deadline is 25^th May 2018. Once the applicants have been decided, they will have numerous workshops from the month of May to June and then finally have an Idea Pitch-In and Grand Finale on 22^nd August.
• The thematic areas are ICT, Sustainable Tourism, Agriculture, Renewable Energy & Environment, Education, Gender Equality, Water and Sanitation, Health for 2018.

Why it Matters:

• The winner of the challenge will be getting a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh to incubate their idea.
• The program is hosted to encourage the youth to come up with innovative business ideas that could be shaped into ventures through incubation, facilitation and financial support.
