On 19th February, several organizations in Bryan, Texas, came together to help send mobile carts to Nepal, reports KBTX-TV.
The details:
- Mobility Worldwide volunteers worked along with College Station Noon Lions Club to pack 170 boxed carts into the back of a truck.
- Those carts are to be distributed in Nepal by the Sankhu Lions Club.
What they are saying:
- Dave Ruesink with the College Station Noon Lions Club says, “It’s a way to be able to provide people who have not been able to get around with their legs to be able to move and to carry things and to be self-supporting”.
- The organization in Nepal will be receiving the carts in a couple of months.
