Historically, there have been only two players in the foldable space in Nepal — Samsung and Honor. And between them, only Samsung was the regular one, releasing its foldable every year. So, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say Samsung had a monopoly on the foldable market.

That said, last year we saw a shift in the tide. New players hopped into this niche segment, and one entry was the most exciting among all of them — OPPO Find N5. The phone had collected praises from the tech community, and now its even improved successor might also make its way into Nepal.
What is the Price of the OPPO Find N6 in Nepal?
The OPPO Find N6 price in Nepal could land at around Rs 2,99,999 for the 16/512GB variant. We arrived at this figure as it’s a clean round number and reflects roughly a 20% increase over its predecessor, which, while unfortunate, has become fairly common jump these days.
As for the launch, there are some whispers in the market, but nothing concrete yet. With OPPO recently bringing the Reno15 and essentially reviving the mainline Reno series in Nepal, it’s fair to assume the company is looking to expand its presence here. That said, there’s still a chance the OPPO Find N6 might not launch at all.
Okay, so I mentioned the OPPO Find N5 was widely praised, and rightfully so. The phone was top-notch hardware-wise, especially in the battery department, where foldables normally struggle.
Now, OPPO has tightened those loose knots even further, while seemingly solving the absolute nightmare of folding phones — the crease. So, what tricks does the OPPO Find N6 have up its sleeve? Let’s explore in further detail:
OPPO Find N6 Overview
Crease Gone?
Let’s start by addressing the elephant in the room. Did OPPO really solve the crease? Not really. OPPO says it’s using an upgraded hinge, built using advanced 3D liquid printing technology. They are also employing a new type of glass that apparently “auto-smoothenes itself”. So, it’s a stretchy glass, is what I am understanding.
However, they have been very careful with how they are marketing it. They haven’t explicitly mentioned “zero crease” and instead have gone with “zero-feel crease”.
And buried deep in the disclaimer section, OPPO has clarified that the crease is “typically not visible from most viewing angles and under normal use conditions”, and the glass’s auto-smoothening “is not a permanent or perfect restoration, and its effectiveness will decrease with prolonged usage”.
So, in layman’s terms, the crease is still there, and it might be more prominent a few years down the line. It’s just a lot less visible out of the box, and that will be the case for a lot longer than before — 600,000 folds to quote OPPO exactly.

Rest of the Phone
Now that’s out of the way, let’s talk about the phone. It looks pretty much the same as before and carries IP56, IP58, and IP59 ratings. The display on the outside is 6.62 inches, while the display inside stretches 8.12 inches. Both screens are absolutely specs-studded.
Under the hood, we get the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. While the phone launched in three different variants in China, it will likely only arrive in the 16/512GB trim in Nepal.
To round out the things about the hardware, we move on to the most impressive aspects of the OPPO Find N6, which are the cameras and the battery. Despite being foldable, this phone packs a flagship-grade lineup of cameras.

It includes a 200MP main sensor, 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. This is a huge upgrade from last year’s 50MP+8MP+50MP lineup. Both the front-facing cameras are now 20MP units, up from measly 8MP. That said, these are now wide lenses instead of ultrawide, so the field of view will be a bit limited this time around. The OPPO Find N6 also enjoys the Hasselblad partnership.
Likewise, the OPPO Find N5 already had a 5,600mAh battery, which was already larger than what many full-fledged flagships offered. Now the N6 pushes the cell capacity even further to 6,000mAh. The charging speeds are equally impressive at 80W wired and 50W wireless.
The hardware of the OPPO Find N6 is truly amazing. But the software is what carries the majority of the day-to-day experience. The phone boots on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. And if the execution is anywhere as good as on the Reno15, we might finally be looking at a worthy opponent to the Galaxy Z Fold.

OPPO has nailed the hardware down. Software should not be all that problematic either. That said, OPPO Find N6 could be the perfect recipe to dent Samsung’s dominance in the foldable space.
However, all that depends on how aggressively OPPO prices the Find N6. And given how OPPO priced its offering in the past, that’s not a very bright prospect. Then there is the volume.
The Find N5 arrived in Nepal, and it was soon out of stock. Those who wanted an alternative to the Galaxy Fold could not really find it. So, if OPPO can maintain its presence in the market, it could be a popular choice.
