Ultima Atom Buds 2 Now Available in Nepal: Another Best Selling TWS in Daraz?

Ultima, a Nepali brand known for delivering some of the best earphones, smartwatches, and other consumer electronics, has just launched the Ultima Atom Buds 2.

And like most TWS earbuds from Ultima, the Atom Buds 2 are bound to grab attention, especially thanks to their fresh and distinctive design.

What is the Price of the Ultima Atom Buds 2 in Nepal?

Ultima Atom Buds 2 price in Nepal is Rs. 1,899, and is now available for purchase via Daraz and authorized Ultima stores.

Ultima’s lineup includes quite a few TWS earbuds, and if you browse through Ultima Lifestyle’s store page on Daraz, you’ll see that their best-selling products are the TWS earbuds. When you compare the specs of their top sellers with the Ultima Atom Buds 2, the new buds don’t lag far behind; in many areas, they hold their own.

So before we dive into how they actually perform, let’s take a closer look at what these new buds are actually made of.

Ultima Atom Buds 2 Overview

The Ultima Atom Buds 2 immediately stand out in their price segment thanks to a rather unique design. The charging case features an upward-sliding lid that fully exposes the earbuds, which sit vertically inside the case. It has a matte finish and comes in three color options: Gray, Blue, and Black. While the design looks cool and futuristic, opening the case one-handed can be a bit tricky, especially when you’re in a hurry.

In terms of durability, the earbuds come with an IPX4 rating, meaning they can handle light splashes, sweat, and mild rain without much trouble. However, Ultima hasn’t clarified whether this water resistance applies to the charging case as well, which is something worth keeping in mind.

Moving on to audio, the Atom Buds 2 pack a 10mm dynamic driver, which is fairly standard for this segment. On top of that, you also get Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with noise reduction of up to 32dB, helping cut down background noise in everyday situations like commuting or working in a café.

For connectivity, the buds use Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring a stable and seamless connection with a typical range of up to 10 meters. Ultima also touts an ultra-low latency gaming mode with delays as low as 50ms. While it’s not the lowest latency we’ve seen, it’s still pretty solid for casual gaming and video streaming.

Battery life is another highlight. Although Ultima hasn’t disclosed the exact battery capacity, the company claims an impressive total playback time of up to 120 hours with the charging case. The earbuds themselves can last up to 7 hours at 60% volume without ANC, which drops to around 5.5 hours with ANC turned on.

The Atom Buds 2, despite being a completely new TWS earphone rather than a direct successor to the original Atom Buds, come with a surprisingly solid set of features. It packs a 10mm dynamic driver, which is a decently sized driver for its price segment. On top of that, you also get Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) along with touch controls, features that are still not guaranteed at this price point.

Considering what it costs, the feature set on offer really stands out. For the price, the Atom Buds 2 manage to deliver more than expected, making them a strong value-for-money option in the budget TWS market.
