ZTE’s Nubia NEO series has always been a popular pick in the global market, a go-to choice for a budget gaming phone. And this year, Nepali gamers are finally getting a taste of it too, with the arrival of the Nubia NEO 3 GT.

With the launch of the NEO 3 GT, it becomes ZTE’s most expensive phone in Nepal. But the real question is: can it stand its ground against the already competitive lineup of budget gaming phones in Nepal? Let’s find out.
What is the price of the ZTE nubia NEO 3 GT in Nepal?
The ZTE nubia NEO 3 GT price in Nepal is Rs. 36,999 for the sole 12/256GB variant. The phone is available for purchase via authorized stores, both retail and online. Buyers can also get the ZTE nubia NEO 3 GT on EMI with 0% interest.
ZTE is facing some serious competition from the rising fan-favorite brand Infinix in the budget gaming segment. On one side, there’s the Nubia NEO 3 GT, and on the other, the Infinix GT 30, both fighting for the same crowd.
With identical pricing, the real question becomes: which one packs the better specs? Both go head-to-head on paper, so let’s dive into the nitty-gritty of the NEO 3 GT and see how it stacks up.
ZTE nubia NEO 3 GT Overview
From the very first glance, the NEO 3 GT screams gaming. With its flat body and cyber-mecha aesthetics, it’s got that futuristic vibe going on. The back features mini LED and RGB lighting, along with the signature eagle-eye design that’s been a staple in ZTE’s NEO lineup.

The sides are quite familiar too; two pressure-sensitive gaming triggers sit on the right frame, just like on the previous NEO 2 and 3 models.
Up front, you get a massive 6.8-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and up to 1300 nits of peak brightness.
Powering the device is the UNISOC T9100 chipset, which, frankly, feels underwhelming for the price. Yes, it’s a 5G chip, but its performance barely matches that of the 4G Helio G200. For a phone that’s all about gaming, ZTE could’ve definitely gone with something more capable. On the bright side, the phone comes with a generous 12GB of RAM and a 4,083mm² vapor chamber.

As expected from a gaming phone, the camera department takes a back seat. There’s a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth lens, and a 16MP selfie camera up front. ZTE hasn’t shared much about the aperture or sensor size, so expectations here should stay modest.
The 6,000mAh battery is impressive, though, especially with 80W fast charging support. That’s miles ahead of most phones in this segment, which usually cap out at 33W or 45W. Plus, it even supports bypass charging.

The ZTE Nubia NEO 3 GT falls short of what it claims to be, a true gaming smartphone. To deliver a solid gaming experience, a phone needs two key things: a capable processor and a high-quality display. Unfortunately, the NEO 3 GT struggles on both fronts.
Its rivals, particularly the Infinix GT 30, easily outshine it with a faster processor and a better display. And with such strong competition dominating the budget gaming segment, the NEO 3 GT ends up being a hard phone to recommend.
