Huawei Band 10 Arrives in Nepal with AMOLED Display and 100 Workout Modes

Huawei Nepal has officially launched the Band 10, the follow-up to last year’s Band 9. The device made its global debut earlier this year in Malaysia.

At first glance, Band 10 and Band 9 appear almost the same, featuring the same sleek build and compact design. Even the specifications seem largely unchanged.

But let’s not judge too quickly, let’s dig into the specs and see if Huawei’s made any meaningful tweaks under the hood.

Huawei Band 10 Overview

Design and Display

First things first, the band comes in a total of seven color variants: Matte Black, White, Green, Blue, Purple, Black, and Pink. The Black and Pink versions use a durable polymer frame, while the rest have an aluminum alloy body that gives them a noticeably more premium look and feel.

The aluminum variants weigh 15g, just 1 gram heavier than the polymer models. Up front, there’s a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a 194 x 368 pixel resolution. And you get a single physical button on the right.

On the bottom, there’s a charging pin along with the LEDs for the optical heart rate sensor. The band features a quick-release strap design, so swapping out bands is as easy as pressing a button.

Finally, the device is rated for 5ATM water resistance, meaning it can handle everything from sweat to swims without breaking a sweat.

Fitness Tracking and Other Features

The Huawei Band 10 is packed with over 100 workout and activity tracking modes, covering everything from running and cycling to yoga and strength training.

On the health side, heart rate monitoring, SpO₂ tracking, and sleep tracking are all built in. It even includes menstrual cycle tracking, which is a thoughtful touch for users who need it. Finally, it keeps tabs on the usual calories burned, step count, and active minutes throughout the day.

All your health and fitness data syncs with the Huawei Health app, available on both Android and iOS. To top it off, the Band 10 lets you customize your look with tons of watch faces, some are pre-installed, and many more are available to download directly from the Huawei Health app.

The band is compatible with Android 9.0+ and iOS 13.0+ devices.

Battery and Connectivity

When it comes to battery life, it can last up to 14 days on light use, around 9 days with typical day-to-day usage, and roughly 3 days if you’re using the Always-On Display (AOD). And Huawei claims the Band 10 can be fully charged in just 45 minutes.

The Huawei Band 10, like its predecessor, features Bluetooth 5.0. While an upgrade to Bluetooth 5.3 would have been a welcome improvement, it’s understandable given that this is a smart band, not a full-fledged smartwatch.

Lastly, charging is handled via Huawei’s magnetic charger, which snaps on easily.

The Huawei Band 10 price in Nepal is Rs. 6,990. The band can be purchased at Huawei-authorized stores throughout Nepal as well as online on Daraz.

The Huawei Band 10 brings all the core fitness features you’d expect: sleep, heart rate, stress, SpO₂, and workout tracking in a clean, lightweight package. With up to 9 days of battery life on typical use, it’s built to go the distance without needing constant recharging.

On the downside, the Band 10 does not bring much improvement to its predecessor, the Band 9.

If you need a budget-friendly fitness tracker that handles all the essentials without feeling bulky like a smartwatch, the Band 10 gets the job done.
