What is the Price of ZTE Nubia V70 Design in Nepal?
The ZTE Nubia V70 Design is expected to cost around Rs. 15,499 (4/256GB) and Rs. 16,999 (8/256GB) in Nepal.
This estimate is based on the phone’s launch in the Philippines at ₱5,300 (4/256GB) in November 2024. Later, an 8/256GB variant was introduced in some markets. However, the launch date and available variants for Nepal remain uncertain.
The Nubia V70 Design is a budget phone with specs similar to the V70 Max. However, it focuses more on design, likely explaining the “Design” name.

ZTE Nubia V70 Design Overview
Design
As I mentioned earlier, the ZTE Nubia V70 Design emphasizes its look, clearly taking inspiration from iPhones. It features a plastic frame, a common choice for budget smartphones.
However, the back panel options are interesting, with choices between sky-mirror glass and vegan leather. However, it’s unclear if the glass option is real or just polished plastic made to look like glass. If it truly is glass, this probably makes the ZTE Nubia V70 Design the only phone to have a glass back panel at this price point.
Either way, the phone should look and feel more premium. The glass back comes in Stone Gray and Rose Pink, while the vegan leather variant is available in Citrus Orange and Jade Green.
On the right side, there is a volume rocker and ZTE’s signature red power button. The power button also works as a fingerprint sensor. The left side has a dual nano SIM tray with an extra microSD card slot. Finally, there is a 3.5mm jack, a mono-speaker, and a USB Type-C port on the bottom.
Hardware
The Nubia V70 Design runs on the UNISOC T606 processor, the same chip found in the Nubia V70 Max—where it has been rebranded as the UNISOC T7200. It is an octa-core processor with two Cortex-A75 and six Cortex-A55 cores, both operating at 1.6GHz. And for graphics, it uses the ARM Mali-G57 MP1.
Display
The Nubia V70 Design has a 6.7-inch display with an HD+ resolution (720 x 1612) and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. At this price range, a high refresh rate is a great value.
Unlike the V70 Max, which features a water-drop notch, the V70 Design features a punch-hole that transforms into Live Island 2.0, displaying real-time activities, reminders, and notifications. Since both phones are in the budget segment, users get the flexibility to choose between a punch-hole or a waterdrop-notch design.
Camera
It has a three-camera setup on the back, the primary of which is a 50MP unit. The company does not mention outright what the remaining two lenses are for. However, GSMArena mentions that one of them is a 2MP depth camera, while the third snaper remains unknown. In any case, both options seem like gimmicky placeholders.
Meanwhile, the Nubia V70 Design features a 16MP camera on the front.
OS and AI
Talking about software, the Nubia V70 Design features MyOS 14. This is ZTE’s custom Android skin based on Android 14.
ZTE boasts AI stuff like Organization and Storytelling, Best Take, Photo Search, Portrait Light, Magic Eraser, Magic Editor, AI Face Stickers, Magic Lens (OCR), and many more.
