Huawei Watch D with Blood Pressure Measurement Now Available in Nepal

We don’t see a lot of products from Huawei in Nepal, especially in the wearable industry. But now, Huawei has brought out the big guns with their first smartwatch with Blood pressure measurements. Enter the Huawei Watch D.

Huawei Watch D Overview

Design and Display

The Huawei Watch D has a rectangular-shaped body with two buttons on the side to allow for quick access to home and the health features. The watch case, crafted from Graphite Black Aluminum, looks stylish and premium.

Huawei has complimented the body with a black Fluoroelastomer strap which enhances the look of the watch and gives it a stealthy vibe.

At the front is a 1.64-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 456 x 280 pixels. It should be decently sharp at 326ppi and the watch also features an ambient sensor allowing for auto-brightness function.

Health and Other Features

The Huawei Watch D has an optical heart rate sensor using the Huawei TruSeen 5.0+ and also has SpO2 measurement. Furthermore, the smartwatch offers other health measurement features including stress, skin temperature, blood pressure, and sleep.

This is their first watch that measures blood pressure and they’ve made it more accurate by using a mini pump and airbag, like it’s done on a sphygmomanometer.

The user is provided with over 70 choices of workout modes and you can also set reminders for health measurement so that you can stay on top of health monitoring.

Battery and Connectivity

The Huawei Watch D comes with a battery that they claim lasts up to 7 days. For charging, it supports wireless charging.

The watch, unfortunately, lacks Wi-Fi connectivity. So, for connectivity, the users need to rely on Bluetooth 5.1. However, the smartwatch does come with GPS support.

The Huawei Watch D price in Nepal is Rs. 64,990. It is available for purchase at retail stores or online via Daraz.
