International Industrial Trade Fair To Be Held for The 14th Time

The 14th International Industrial Trade Fair cum Cottage Industry Festival-2075 is going to be held from April 27 to May 1 at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu. It is being organized by the Federation of Nepal Cottage and Small Industries (FNCSI) with the aim of substituting import and promoting export as well as developing cottage and small industries.

This year, the fair will see participations from all of the 77 districts of Nepal along with International participation from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and China.

The event is to have 250 stalls and more than 200,000 visitors in 5 days. Moreover, FNCSI President Shyam Prasad Giri said that the Federation has estimated the transaction in the fair to be around Rs. 150 million.

Last year, the 13th Nepal International Industrial Trade Fair and Innovation Expo 2017 had 215 stalls. There were agro, forest, and mineral based enterprises, handicrafts, natural fiber products along with ICT based technologies and products and renewable energy. The fair also had musical programs followed by cultural shows and fashion shows. Various informative workshops and seminars on national issues and international trade promotion were also a major highlight.

This year a lot of people are gearing up for this 5 day International event. We are to see a lot of national and International products this year along with new ideas and innovations.
