What is the Price of the Xiaomi Pad 7 in Nepal?
The Xiaomi Pad 7 price in Nepal could be around Rs. 44,999 for the 8/128GB variant and Rs. 49,999 for the 12/256GB variant.
This estimation is based on its global pricing, and if it holds, the Pad 7 could easily become the go-to option thanks to the many advantages it offers.
As the latest addition and upgrade to the Xiaomi Pad 6, the Pad 7 brings some notable improvements — including a higher resolution display, a new 3:2 aspect ratio, and most importantly, a major jump in processing power compared to its predecessor.
But the most impressive thing here is the expected pricing, which could seriously shake up the competition.

Xiaomi Pad 7 Overview
Design
Xiaomi seems to have followed the classic “don’t fix it if it ain’t broke” approach with the new Pad 7, sticking to a familiar design language. At first glance, it looks quite similar to its predecessor, though it’s now slightly taller.
This change likely accommodates the new 3:2 aspect ratio—ideal for productivity tasks, though not the best for media consumption due to black bars appearing during fullscreen video playback.
At just 6.2mm thick, the Pad 7 remains on the slimmer side of tablets. However, like many thin devices, it comes with a compromise—a raised camera module. The squircle camera bump is quite prominent, especially when compared to the more subtle design of the Xiaomi Pad 6.
You’ll find the usual volume rocker on the side, with the power button and dual speakers at the top. On the bottom, there’s another set of dual speakers, making it a full quad-speaker setup. The bottom also houses a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, which is a pleasant surprise—especially considering that Apple’s iPad 10th Gen still ships with the slower Type-C 2.0.
Unfortunately, the Pad 7 misses out on a fingerprint sensor and any sort of IP rating, both of which are increasingly common in the competition.
The tablet is available in three clean, minimalist shades: Graphite Grey, Sage Green, and Mirage Purple.
Display
Xiaomi has packed the Pad 7 with some impressive display specs. It features a large 11.2-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2136 x 3200 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 345 PPI—ensuring crisp and sharp image quality.
On top of that, the display supports a 144Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate, with a peak brightness of 800 nits in HBM. It also boasts a 12-bit color depth, covers the DCI-P3 color gamut, and supports Dolby Vision for improved color accuracy and detail.
The display also comes with TÜV Rheinland Triple Certification for low blue light emission, flicker-free performance, and circadian-friendly viewing. Additionally, it includes Wet Touch technology, which ensures responsive touch input even when your fingers—or the screen—are wet.
However, display protection could’ve been better. It only uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which is slightly outdated compared to more recent protective glass options.
Hardware
Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 powers the Xiaomi Pad 7, while the graphics are handled by the Adreno 732. This is an octa-core processor with one 2.8 GHz Cortex-X4, four 2.6 GHz Cortex-A720, and three 1.9 GHz Cortex-A520.
The processor easily outperforms both Apple’s A14 Bionic found in the iPad (10th Gen) and Samsung’s Exynos 1580 powering the Galaxy Tab S10 FE/FE+. And considering that both those tablets cost significantly more, the Pad 7 clearly stands out as the better value option.
The base model ships with 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. However, in my opinion, the 12/256GB variant is the way to go—especially since it comes with UFS 4.0, offering significantly faster read/write speeds.
Powering all this is a large 8,850mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. On top of that, the tablet supports Power Delivery 3.0 (PD3.0) and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3+ (QC3+), ensuring broader compatibility and faster, more efficient charging across a range of devices.
Camera
The camera department is where the excitement dips a bit—but let’s be honest, no one’s really buying a tablet for top-tier photography. That said, the setup isn’t bad either.
On the back, you get a 13MP main sensor capable of shooting videos at 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60fps, and 720p@30fps. It’s more than enough for document scans, occasional snaps, or even video recording if needed. Plus the front camera module is equipped with an IR blaster as well.
Up front, there’s an 8MP ultra-wide lens that supports 1080p@30fps and 720p@30fps video recording. Nothing groundbreaking, but it handles video calls and selfies just fine.
OS and AI
The Pad 7 boots with Android 15 right out of the box, layered with Xiaomi’s custom HyperOS 2 skin. It brings along a suite of AI-powered features like AI Writing, Live Subtitles, and Xiaomi Creation.
What stands out is the integration of Google’s Gemini AI. You get features like Gemini Overlay, Live interaction, Image Generation, Extensions, and even Circle-to-Search—all baked right into the system.
