Nepali brand Ultima has launched the Ultima Atom 720 TWS earbuds in Nepal. It is the latest addition to their Atom series of budget TWS earbuds featuring dual EQ modes.

Ultima Atom 720 Overview

Design

The case of the Atom 720 earbuds has a pebble-shaped design with a dual-tone finish. It features the Ultima logo on the top half and an LED indicator on the bottom. On the underside of the case, you’ll find the USB-C charging port. The case does not have any buttons whatsoever for pairing controls.

The mirror-finish earbuds have a curved and ergonomic shape. They are designed in an in-ear style with the main body housing the speakers, the silicone ear tips, and the driver units. The stem houses the touch controls, microphones, and the earbud’s battery.

For protection, the earbuds are certified IPX4 water-resistant. This means the earbuds offer guard against splashes of water which makes them suitable for workouts or light rain.

Features

Moving onto the features of the Ultima Atom 720, the earbuds feature dual EQ modes, namely Signature and Bass. The latter is suitable for those who want extra bass.

Other average TWS earbud features like onboard music controls, low latency mode, environmental noise cancellation, and support for voice assistant are all preset as well.

The earbuds come with 13mm dynamic drivers. In addition, it also features a gaming mode named Rampage Mode that provides latency as low as 50ms for better gameplay.

Battery and Connectivity

Ultima claims that the Ultima Atom 720 can provide users with a continuous music playback of 6 hours at 60% volume, and combined with the case, a total music playback of 50 hours.

The company has also claimed that the battery takes around 3 hours to charge from 0 to 100% with the USB-C connector. Ultima claims a 10-minute charge can provide up to 150 minutes of playtime.

Connectivity-wise, the earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.4 and can connect to iOS, Android, and Windows devices.

Ultima mentions in its specs sheet that the Atom 720 supports Swift Pair technology for connectivity. Swift Pair, as we know, is developed by Microsoft which allows earbuds to efficiently connect with Windows devices.

Unfortunately, the “Swift Pair” technology mentioned by Ultima is not an actual Microsoft feature but rather a marketing term created by Ultima, which misleads consumers.
