Sajha Yatayat, a cooperative public transport company, operating in Kathmandu and Lalitpur metropolitan cities has welcomed its first semi-low floor bus.
Details:
- The bus manufactured by Ashok Leyland India will soon ferry passengers around the Kathmandu valley.
- Amount of Rs. 3.5 million was spent on the bus which can only run on uniform surfaces.

According to Sajha CEO, Mahendra Raj Pandey, the semi-low floor bus will run in the Bansbari-Patan route to connect hospitals such as Neuro, Teaching, Kanti, Bir, Alka, and Patan. He added that it will be easier for people with disabilities to board the bus.
