Pathao Nepal Finally Lets iPhone Users Use It Service

It’s official. Pathao Nepal has finally let iPhone users out of their misery by releasing the Pathao app for iOS. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the name Pathao, Pathao is a successful transportation technology of Bangladesh. Established in 2015, Pathao is one of the fastest growing startups in Bangladesh which operated in 3 main cities of Bangladesh: Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet before coming to Nepal.The user interface of the iOS version of the Pathao app is identical to that of Android. There are some cosmetic changes. Like some icons inside the app take rounded square shape in iOS Pathao but they are round in Android version. The history and inbox buttons at the bottom have changed places. And notifications panel is inside inbox menu instead of being inside more as in Android. But, that’s about it.

Pathao has been trying to lure in users like crazy these past few months. They are giving away discounts that would have bankrupt a small company with limited funding within days. Just look at these notifications.

We hope you guys are taking full benefits of these offers. But I wish Pathao would focus their energy at providing service further deeper of the ring road. This was our complaint in our previous article and it still hasn’t been solved. For me, Tootle is still the only service I can use.
