Oppo F5: 3 Things Know

#1. Low Performance

oppo f5 processorOne of the major downsides of the Oppo F5 is its processor. It sports a MediaTek MT6763T Helio P23 octa-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz. Not that all the MediaTek processors are bad, but the thing is you can clearly notice the performance difference between the MediaTek and Snapdragon Processors.

You would definitely want to enjoy graphic-intensive games in F5 is full view display but with the MediaTek MT6763T processor, it’s not going to be a smooth experience. For the asked price, Oppo should have included a mid-range Snapdragon processor.

Well, you could ignore this point if you’re not into mobile games and such.

#2. Rear Camera – Not up to the mark!

oppo f5 rear cameraOppo F5 is all about the selfie camera. That is the reason you will definitely miss out on a good primary camera. While it is not a bad 16MP rear shooter with f/1.8 aperture, you can get a much better rear camera at that price range or even at less.

Not to forget, you can even get a decent dual camera setup with the Xiaomi’s Mi A1 for Rs. 29,999 only. If you prefer a good primary camera over the selfie camera, you should probably skip the Oppo F5.

#3. No Fast Charging

It is surprising that Oppo has not included the fast charging in the Oppo F5.

It has a 3200 mAh battery and without fast charging — definitely, it will take quite a while to recharge the battery.

Fast charging is one of the essential features these days that you one expects in a mid-range device. At least on the phones that are released in 2017. Also if I’m paying Rs. 33,990 for a phone, I would definitely expect fast charging!

So, if you think you need fast charging in your phone Oppo F5 is not the phone for you.

These are the three things you should definitely consider before buying the all-new Oppo F5.

But, if you are the type of person that takes selfies all the time, then only you can go for the Oppo F5. Besides, Oppo F5 also has a bezel-less display which is not an edge to edge like the Samsung S8.

Are you ready to pay Rs. 33,990 to capture the real you? Not me.
