Nepal Agritech International Expo 2024 to be Held from 26th Feb

The Nepal Agritech International Expo 2024 is slated to take place from February 26 to February 28 at the Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu, Nepal. The exhibition will feature over 100 stalls showcasing products from both local and international agricultural companies.

The event is being organized by Media Space Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Futurex Trade Fair & Events Pvt. Ltd., marking the sixth edition of this three-day agri-expo. The exhibition will feature diverse exhibits, including those related to agriculture, farm machinery, dairy, aquatech, fisheries, poultry, livestock, food, beverages, and technologies.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development Mr. Beduram Bhasal at 11:00 a.m. on February 26, 2024. The expo is supported by the Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project, Muktinath Krishi Company Ltd., Municipal Association of Nepal, the National Association of Rural Municipalities in Nepal, National Farmers Group Federation, and Nepal Agricultural Co-operative Central Federation Ltd., and more.

Individuals can obtain information on various types of agriculture, including poultry farming, fish farming, goat farming, cattle and buffalo farming, dairy, and the latest agricultural tools and equipment.

The expo is anticipated to draw entrepreneurs, researchers, students, representatives of associations, and farmers from across the country.

Moreover, within this international exhibition, local experts will conduct seminars on various agricultural topics to address farmers’ issues. Additionally, there is a program designed to educate farmers from all over the country about agricultural techniques and diverse types of agriculture.

The exhibition, offering free entry, will showcase small tools, machines, dairy machinery, and equipment used in the animal husbandry industry to facilitate and make agricultural work more accessible and affordable.

It is anticipated that the exhibition will play a crucial role in identifying the latest technologies and services suitable for the agricultural sector in Nepal. The belief is that the adoption of these advancements will contribute to an increase in agricultural production, ultimately aiding the country in achieving self-sufficiency in agricultural produce.
